Mayor Norma O. Walker presents Assistant Fire Chief Frank Bruner with a Certificate of Honorable Mention for Fire Prevention while Chief Hawkins, left, and City Manager Robert O. Wright look on. The Aurora Fire Department has either placed or received Honorable Mention in Fire Prevention work in Colorado since 1955. Ther Certificate, awarded by the National Fire Protection Association, reads in part, "for outstanding activity in Fire Prevention for the year 1966." Assistant Chief Bruner is head of the Fire Prevention program in Aurora. -Aurora Advocate, Wednesday, March 22, 1967.
