Object Name Coat
Description A commercially made woman's royal blue, double breasted, nautical style, light weight long sleeved coat. It is made from a cotton/polyester blend fabric and is completely lined with a white fine cotton. The label has been removed from the neckline edge of the lining and there is a 2.5cm tear in the lining in this area. The coat has a notched collar and the outer edge of the collar is trimmed in two rows of white 0.4cm soutache trim. Two rows of the white soutache trim also are also sewn to the lower edge of each sleeve. Both sides of the coat front has a patch pocket trimmed with two rows of the white soutache trim.Each side of coat front has three gold metal 1 inch buttons embossed with an American eagle design. Each metal button is secured to a plastic button on the interior side of the coat front.
