Description |
This is an image taken the Monday after the BLM/Elijah McClain protest that took place June 27,2020. The image shows the construction of new permanent fence the Aurora Police Department put up in response to the BLM/Elijah McClain protest. The fencing is black metal with vertical and horizontal rectangular prism shape bars. The vertical bars extend up, curve over and turn into a triangular prism or point. The curved part is facing away from the Aurora Police Headquarters. Sections of the fence have been embedded into the ground. There are two sections of fencing on the left of the image leaning against the wire temporary fence. There is one section of fencing to the right of the image leaning up against a tree. The Aurora Municipal Court can be seen in the background. This image was taken from the walk way leading up to the Headquarters. |
