Description |
Black and white photo, mounted to gray fabric backing with three-ring paper on the left side, of interior of KOA building, control room. Seven walls of the room are visible, the far wall being divided into five flat walls. on each wall is a floor-to-almost-ceiling black control panel with dials, switches and readouts. The floor is covered with tile in a semi-checker pattern. A man is twisting a dial on the left-most panel, facing left. In the center of the room is a single metal desk with a control panel sitting on it. Next to that is a wheeled table with a typewriter on it. In front of the desk is a light colored chair with a man sitting in it. The man is facing away from the camera. A large skylight with Art Deco design work is at the top of the vaulted ceiling. Four Art Deco-style lamps are mounted to the ceiling at each side of the square skylight. |
