Description |
Large silver colored brushed metal letter A. This letter A used to be a part of the Aurora History Museum sign that was attached to the brick wall infront of the outdoor community space facing the Great Lawn. Most of the sign was ripped from the wall during the June 27, 2020 Elijah McClain/Black Lives Matter (BLM) protest. The Aurora History Museum is attached to the Aurora Police Department Headquarters and became a part of the protest. Protesers started to climb up the brick wall to get a better view and used the sign letters to help. Most of the letters were ripped from the wall by climbing or people removing them. All letters were accounted for after the protest. |
