Poster from the Elijah McClain protest and vigil on June 27, 2020 that took place in front of the APD Police Headquarters, Court House, Museum, and Great Lawn. White foam core board with, "If you think your mask makes it hard to breathe, imagine being BLACK in america." written in black ink on one side. "BLACK" is written in red ink. There are small pebbles imbedded into this side of the poster. The other side of the poster reads, "THAT'S NOT A CHIP ON MY -SHOULDER- THAT'S YOUR KNEE ON MY NECK! -MALCOLM X". This is written in black ink with "KNEE" and "MALCOLM X" written in red ink. There are shoe prints and smudges from people walking over top of this poster. |
