Description |
A silver teapot. Body of teapot is shaped like a rounded triangle that tapers towards bottom. A curved spout projects from the lower half of one side and a slightly S-shaped handle on the other. Both spout and handle are decorated with a narrow band of rose garland pattern on either side. The teapot sits on a circular pedastal or foot, which also has the rose garland pattern around its edge. The lid of the teapot is hinged on the handle side, roughly bell-shaped, with a rose garland pattern around its outer edge and a knob at the top shaped like a flower with volutes on either side. |
