Description |
Object is helmet used by Aurora Police Department. Helmet is round and bucket style, slightly lower in back, and made out of hard material. Exterior is shiny black with a matte black plastic lip around edge. A three dimensional silver police insignia is on the front. Insignia is in the shape of an eagle with its wings outstretched perched on top of a rectangular shape with the State of Colorado seal at the center. A black hard plastic visor is attached to front of helmet with three silver snaps. A black plastic strip of uncertain function is attached to front of helmet just above visor. Four flat circular silver metal pieces are attached around exterior. Back and sides of helmet have gray print. Interior is padded black fabric and mesh with a zipper half around edge. Two fabric straps come down from the sides to form chin straps with a black plastic buckle. |
