Carving made from limestone from Adama, Ethiopia. Carving is rectangular at base and tapers upwards to a point. Around point are four incised parallel horizontal lines. Below this are two rows of incised zig zag or triangular designs. Below this is a recessed smooth segment with three small square holes. Below this is a row of incised rectangles decorated with either Xs or parallel horizontal lines. |
